On 25th July 1997 Pat & Malc Appleby, Diane & Trude Tarry found Michael,s
grave. They spoke to the secretary of the church who said that she will search
out any details she can find in the church records and let us have them. She
later sent a copy from their death register of Michael's death.  We also
visited Joseph Street where he lived and Carnegie Crescent (part of which is
old terraced houses and which we think may have been called Carnegie Street)
where Michael's grand=daughter Florence died when she was 7 months old. (See
photos in PA's file)

Diane Tarry went to St Catherine's House 10.07.97. No entry of birth. Florie died approx 1960/62.  See photo in file taken approx 1914.

Bridget was 27 at the time of her marriage. She lived at 37 Joseph Street, St Helen's, Lancs. Her father Michael was a bricklayer (journeyman). They were married in the register office. Witnesses were O Rennington & O M Huby. The register office was in the district of Prescot, Lancs.  Diane Tarry went to St Catherine's House 10.07.97. Only Bridget Linskey (NB spelt differently) birth registered was born in Dewsbury, Yorks. Di is getting a copy of Birth Certificate.  At some point she worked in a fish shop in St Helen's.  David Flanagan (son) has got original death certificate, no. 393 in the sub district of Ollerton, in the district of  Southwell, Notts. She died of Cardiac failure and Coma and Carcinoma of the liver. Her daughter Gertie and son David were with her when she died. (Copy of certificate in file). See photo in file
