I am in the process of trying to find my fathers grandparents, JOHN HENRY LYNSKEY (born june 1870) and CATHERINE MARY MONAHAN LYNSKEY (born 03 June 1883), were my fathers parents. They were both born in County Mayo, Ireland, but moved to Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, USA. They were married in 1908 at Saint Patricks Catholic Church, in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.   Any information will be greatfully appreciated.

My maiden name is Lynskey. My father, John Lynskey, came from a large family based in Indianapolis, IN. His parents were John Henry Lynskey and Catherine Monahan. He had several brothers, Jim, Frank, and Andy, and sisters, Grace, and Mary. My father, John, married my mother, Joy Waddington, in 1952, in Maywood, CA, and their marriage produced me and my brothers, James Robert Emmet Lynskey, Michael Sean Lynskey, Christopher Warren Lynskey, and Timothy Joseph Lynskey, and my sister, Catherine Beth Lynskey. My family lived in southern California till approximately the mid 70's, when Mike moved to Ohio and I moved to Colorado. My brother, Jim, has done some significant geneology work on the history of our family, and would be happy to share with any other "Lynskeys". If you are interested, contact me and I will put you in touch with him.

Great to hear from another Lynskey. I am the third of six children of John Robert and Joy Waddington Lynskey. Our father passed away a few years ago, but Mom is alive and well in California.

My older brother, Jim, has already researched and developed a great deal of our branch's genealogy. I will forward your note to him and ask him to contact you.
